With its 1700 square meters, the Sunset Bar is the largest rooftop bar Bali has to offer. And really living up to its name, the views you get over the Indian Ocean, especially around sunset, is out of this world.
Best enjoyed from one of the luxurious floating lounge-pods at the edge of the terrace, with the surrounding water blending the rooftop and ocean together.

The setting at the Rooftop Sunset Bar is classy and sophisticated, yet fun and relaxed, completed with a great and personal service. Come early for lounge vibes and sunset views, then stick around to enjoy the VJ playing 80’s and 90’s hits and maybe even hit the dancefloor.

2. Above Eleven Bali
The original Above Eleven Rooftop Bar & Restaurant opened in Bangkok in 2012. Since 2017, there is also a Bali-version available in Jimbaran, and while not quite as high, there are lots of similarities.
Perched on top of the fantastic Mövenpick Resort & Spa, Above Eleven is set up as an urban park, inspired by Central Park in New York. This means a trendy and stylish rooftop garden feel, meeting fantastic views over the Bali greenery, Jimbaran Beach and the Indian Ocean.
While the setting at Above Eleven rooftop is NYC-inspired, the food and drinks menu come with influences from completely different parts of the world: Peru and Japan. Above Eleven is actually the first Peruvian Japanese rooftop bar and restaurant in South East Asia.
The rooftop restaurant serves historical, authentic and fresh cuisine called ‘Nikkei’, which date back more than 120 years to the first wave of Japanese immigration to Peru. You can enjoy the food either as nibbles or mains, and there is also a great selection of more ‘familiar’ Sushi & Sashimi.
From the large and central rooftop bar you can order creative and well-made mixolgy cocktails with the same Japanese/Peruvian influences as the food. But there is also more tropical options, as well as a large selection of wines.
Not at all only about tasty food and drinks, Above Eleven is also a happening rooftop, with nightly live DJs, salsa nights and other special entertainment line-ups.

3. Single Fin Bar
Maybe more of a cliffside bar then a rooftop bar, but with a multi level terrace along with absolutely magical views over the Indian Ocean, there is nothing wrong with calling Single Fin one of the best rooftop bar Bali has to offer.
Located on the cliffs of Uluwatu, right below the Blue Point Hotel, and founded by the surfers Made Kasim and Tai Graham, the ‘surfs-up’ vibe is high at this place. It is also probably most famous as a spot looking at surfers catching the last waves while the sun sets beautifully in the ocean.
Open for both lunch and dinner, the rooftop bar serves a nice mix of fresh, healthy and filling meals, ranging from pizza and burgers to salads and sharing plates.
And while a cold Bintang is the best time seller in the bar, there is also a great variety of signature cocktails, premium spirits and more healthy choices like smoothies and cold pressed juices.
You should visit Single Fin right around the amazing sunset, but you will most definitely not be alone. So make reservations or be in good time to catch one of the front row seats. Then you can stick around to enjoy the vibrant, fun and chilled vibe, highlighted by live DJs playing nice tunes.
The atmosphere is always high at Single Fin bar, but extra so during ‘Acoustic Wednesdays’ and ‘Sunday Session’. The Single Fin dress code is relaxed and casual.
